How to Use This Tool

STEP 1
Open on Phone or Tablet
This test requires hardware gyroscopes found on smartphones, iPads, and 2-in-1 convertible laptops.
STEP 2
Allow Sensor Permission
On iOS Safari devices, tap 'Enable Motion Sensors' and grant permission.
STEP 3
Tilt and Rotate
Watch the 3D card reflect your physical device angles in real-time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do Alpha, Beta, and Gamma angles represent?
Alpha (0-360°) measures compass rotation around the Z-axis. Beta (-180 to 180°) measures front-to-back tilt. Gamma (-90 to 90°) measures left-to-right roll.
Why does Accel Z measure ~9.8 m/s² when stationary?
Earth's gravitational acceleration pulls downward at 9.81 m/s², which is correctly detected by MEMS accelerometers.
Why doesn't my desktop PC show motion data?
Standard desktop PCs do not have built-in accelerometer or gyroscope hardware.
Are gyroscope readings private?
Yes. Sensor readings stay purely on your device and are never recorded or sent across the network.
